Algonquin Inn in conjunction with Algonquin Outfitters offers guided wilderness Canoeing and Wildlife Viewing day trips. The trips are available Monday to Friday from May - September by advance reservation. Packages include guiding service, lunch, canoe rental, safety equipment and transportation into and out of Algonquin Park as required. Algonquin Inn would be pleased to assist you with reservations and arrangements. Experienced guides ensure a safe and enjoyable excursion.



Hailstorm Creek Wildlife Viewing Day $110

Opeongo is Algonquins Park's largest lake. The Hailstorm Creek Nature Reserve area offers many opportunities for viewing moose and other wildlife. A water taxi transports participants and canoes down Opeongo Lake to the mouth of Hailstorm Creek. At the creek you will begin your day of canoeing. The trip leaves from the Opeongo store close to Algonquin Inn. $110 per person + taxes

Guided Voyageur Canoe Trip $36

Relive the history of the fur trade in Algonquin Park and paddle a 10 passenger replica birch bark Voyageur. An experienced guide will take you from the Oxtongue Lake store to scenic Ragged Falls. Trip departs at 9 am and returns by 1 pm. Lunch is provided. Six person minimum is required to make the trip. $36 per person + taxes
